Mostly Music Camp

August 8-12, 2011,
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Grace Bible Church, Ann Arbor, MI, 1300 S. Maple
(between Pauline & Liberty)
Students age 4 to entering grade 7 choose and attend one camp all
week. Select the camp according to your child’s 2011-12 grade.
Campers will rotate between various activities. On Friday, family and
friends are invited to an informal presentation by all of the campers.
MOSTLY MUSIC CAMP for students entering grades 1-7
Campers will explore music and related arts through a variety of
activities each day:
- creative movement
- learning and combining musical patterns
- puppet making
- singing
- story-telling
- dance
- improvisation
- composing with hand percussion instruments
- and much, much more
ADVENTURES IN MUSIC CAMP for students age 4 to entering Kindergarten
Campers will:
- explore music from near and far
- learn about the various instruments of the orchestra
- develop vocal, rhythmic, listening and social skills while
using imagination and enjoying singing and rhythm games
- learn folk dances
- do creative movement
- create related craft projects
- play rhythm instruments
Fee is $140.00
Proceeds provide awards, scholarships & financial assistance.
