AAAPTG Foundation Point System
The following point system is for teachers to determine if they are eligible to enter students in the AAAPTG Foundation Awards Auditions. A minimum of 4 points is required to enter students in the Foundation Awards Auditions. Unless otherwise noted, points are credited for activities that occur during the calendar year (January 1-December 31).
The following activities are each worth two (2) points:
- Be a current Executive Officer of the AAAPTG. (September-June)
- Present an entire Formal Program for the AAAPTG.
- Be a teacher or director of the Mostly Music Camp.
The following activities are each worth one (1) point:
There is a maximum of one point per activity. (e.g. only one point per year for #3, regardless of how many half-days are worked at SATD)
- Attend 6 General Meetings and/or Seminar Programs of the AAAPTG.
- Enter student(s) in AAAPTG-sponsored Student Achievement Testing Day.
- Work at least one half-day at the AAAPTG-sponsored SATD.
- Perform on one AAAPTG-sponsored Repertoire Group recital.
- Serve in a Board Position as listed under “Other Board Positions” on page 5 of the AAAPTG Yearbook (September-June).
- Present a Seminar Program to the AAAPTG.
- Be a panel member at a Formal Program of the AAAPTG.
- Attend AAAPTG-sponsored or co-sponsored workshop.
- Enter student(s) in AAAPTG Student Recitals, Adult Recitals, or Just for Fun Recitals.
- Serve on the AAAPTG Foundation Board (September-June).
- Be a past Executive Officer of the AAAPTG.
- Have student(s) attend the Mostly Music Camp.
- Other activities-please specify.
